Dave Ison will lead a discussion about planning for the future for a loved one who has been diagnosed with dementia. The meeting will be held at the Powell Chamber of Commerce, March 20.
For everyone in the family, a dementia diagnosis brings tremendous uncertainty and unknowns. There are important legal and financial decisions to consider.
The sooner the planning begins, the better. By starting early, every member of the family – including the loved one diagnosed – can make informed decisions.
Dave’s discussion will provide an overview of the legal options that should be addressed. He will also discuss what you can do if your loved one is unable to join the conversation about options.
This event is held in conjunction with a regularly scheduled discussion every third Tuesday of the month. It is part of the activities of Ganzhorn Suites, Specialized Memory Care Facility.
