Grant earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Miami University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He is a member of The Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
What was the first concert you ever went to?
Chumbawamba, in 3rd grade. They’re the guys who sing the song that goes “I get knocked down but I get up again” it’s a banger.
What was your very first job?
I worked as a soccer referee. I was….less than qualified, refereeing kids that were almost my age.
What is the most interesting part of your job?
Our clients. We have so many clients who are building things, its fun to be a part of that and being a part of helping them grow. It is so much fun to be with a client at the formation of a new business or plan, and watch them find success in their execution.
What is the biggest mistake attorneys can make?
Thinking they know everything.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Just take me to an island and forget about me.
If you weren’t an attorney, what would you be?
I wish I could say filmmaker, but I was born with very few creative bones.
What is your favorite way to spend your commuting time?
I love the House of R podcast. It’s a podcast for nerd, by nerds. I also do NBA podcasts, F1 podcasts, or tunes.
What is your favorite quote?
Anything attributed to Mark Twain. “If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.” Or “Nothing so needs reforming as other people’s habits.”
What is your favorite book?
Life Lessons of a Legend, by Brad Manard.
What is the best piece of advice you ever received?
“Hakuna Matata”
What is your guilty pleasure?
I love a weekend long tv binge.

Every single dog.
